Portage Marble and Granite is the oldest most trusted monument company in Portage County. Serving Portage and surrounding counties since 1917. Portage Marble and Granite was founded by Gene Fiocca. The Fioca Family ran the business until 1957. The business was sold to one of the company’s workers, Bud Sachs. After Bud’s death the business was sold to Tom Buzzi in 1968. In 1971 Tom hired Larry Conti as a sales counselor. After working at Portage Marble and Granite for 37 years, In April of 2008, Larry purchased the business. Larry and his family live in Stow.
We have a caring staff trained in all areas of the memorial selection process. Besides Larry Conti, the owner, his daughter, Kelly Adams, is a memorial counselor. Kelly has been helping Portage county families with their memorial needs since 1999. Kelly was professionally trained in memorial design by Rock Of Ages Corp. Larry’s daughter Stacy Merlitti is his administrative assistant helping with all aspects of sales support. Sean Ahern has been a professionally trained sales counselor for 3years. Drema Gerber is our office manager and has been trained to help families with their memorial needs.

We have a comfortable memorial studio that has a wide selection and many styles of memorials in stock to choose from. Along with convenient store hours we offer evenings, weekends and in home appointments to better accommodate you.
